3.  1-Hour Course: Before I file your case you will need to take a credit counseling course by phone or online.  It takes 1-hour and costs around $50.

4.  Meeting of the Creditors/341Meetng: You must attend this meeting where the bankruptcy trustee in charge of your case will ask you several questions.  This should only take a few minutes if you have answered everything honestly and accurately.

5.  1-Hour Course: In order to complete your case, you must complete a 1-hour financial management course.  You can take this course by phone or online and it costs $50.

Once complete your unsecured debts such as your credit card debts will be erased 100%.  If you check your credit report a few weeks later you will see that they have disappeared.
